Introduction: Hegraduated from the Department of Clinical Medicine of Zhejiang MedicalUniversity in 1982 and received a master's degree in urology in 1992. He hasbeen engaged in the clinical work of urology for 22 years, skilled in thediagnosis and treatment of urological diseases such as urinary tumors, calculusand benign prostatic hyperplasia and has gained a good reputation in the fieldof urology in Zhejiang Province owing to his excellent operational skills. Inrecent years, he has taken the lead in organizing ureteroscope pneumaticlithotripsy and holmium laser lithotripsy operations in Zhejiang Province; beena first mover in giving holmium laser enucleation of the prostate, a variety ofurological laparoscopic surgeries, minimally invasive percutaneousnephrolithotomy holmium laser lithotripsy and removal, etc. He focuses on thediagnosis and treatment of urinary malignancies, radical surgery for prostatecancer, endocrinotherapy and isotope brachytherapy and also the clinicalapplication of various endoscopic techniques in urology. In 2002, as one of thefirst batch of talents of the Chinese Urology Talents Program, he went to theUniversity of Southern California to study.

Academics and achievements: Over the years, he has published more than 20 scientific research papers,organized or participated in 7 research programs, participated in thecompilation of 2 books, won a number of provincial science and technologyachievement awards and paid several visits to the US, Europe, Japan and othercountries for academic exchanges.
