Introduction: Mr. Zheng is currently the Director of Cardiovascular Ultrasound Center of theFirst Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University, and Deputy Director of ImagingTeaching and Research Office of the First Affiliated Hospital, ZhejiangUniversity. Since his graduation from Department of Medicine, Zhejiang MedicalUniversity (now known as Zhejiang University School of Medicine) in 1986, Mr. Zhenghas been engaging in cardiovascular ultrasound. He studied in Kiel University,Germany from 1997 to 1999 and obtained the Doctor of Medicine degree of theuniversity. Later in November 2003, he was appointed Chief Physician of CardiovascularUltrasound Center of the First Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University. Up tonow, he has cultivated more than 40 graduate students.

Academics and achievements: Mr. Zheng has published 40 professionalpapers in various journals and magazines including 6 SCI papers, and participatedin writing 5 monographs. Moreover, taking charge of and participating in 5projects of the provincial/ministerial and departmental levels, he is thewinner of 1 Provincial and 1 Ministerial Prize for Progress in Science andTechnology.
