Introduction: She graduated from Zhejiang University School of Medicine and has been engaged in clinical and medical work in surgery for 30 years. She was selected one member of the first echelon of "151 Talents Zhejiang Province Cross-Century 151 Talents Program" in 1999, given the title of "Outstanding Mid-aged Expert" of the National Health Commission in 2004 and appraised as Qiushi Distinguished Expert of Zhejiang University in 2014. She is currently the head of General Surgery Department of The Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, the head of the General Surgery Department of The Fourth Affiliated Hospital Zhejiang University School of Medicine and an academic leader. 
Academics and achievements: As the head of the General Surgery Department, a key department of the hospital, she has organized a total of 5,000-8,000 operations and finished over 100 IV or IV difficult and complex hepatobiliary and pancreatic stomach and retroperitoneal surgeries. She is skilled in general surgery, diagnosis and treatment of liver, gallbladder, pancreas and stomach, other common digestive diseases and stubborn diseases, major difficult and complex surgery of liver, gallbladder, pancreas and stomach, complex surgery of liver cancer, such as high-risk liver segment resection (extended half hepatectomy, lobus quadratus hepatis and caudate lobe), high hilar cholangiocarcinoma and gallbladder tumor resection, and extended hilar skeletal lymph node dissection with some patients surviving for over 5 years. In the past decade, she has made in-depth research on and breakthroughs in clinical operations and translation of pancreatic diseases, especially pancreatic tumor, radical resection of enlarged pancreatic tumor (reconstruction of portal vein, celiac axis resection and resection of SMV/SMA peripheral lymph) and conservative resection and cured a large number of patients after receiving standardized Whipple and enlarged pancreatic tumor radical resection (SMV artificial vascular remodeling). Among these patients, some even survived for 7-10 years after surgery. She has taken the lead around the world in the complications of radical surgery of pancreatic tumor, death rate and control rate and published over 10 innovative research papers on pancreatic tumor diagnosis and surgery in authoritative international journals of pancreatic diseases in the recent three years.
