Introduction: Shegraduated from the Department of Internal Hematology of Zhejiang MedicalUniversity in 1991 with a doctoral degree in medicine, went to Institute ofBlood Transfusion and Blood Immunology at Keele University, Germany fordoctoral program study from 1988 to 1990 and went to the Institute ofHematology and Pathology at Kiel University, Germany for further study from1998 to 1999. She is currently the head of the Department of Hematology at TheFirst Affiliated Hospital Zhejiang University, a young and middle-aged expertwith outstanding contributions of Zhejiang Province, and the first-level talentfor training in the "New Century 151 Talents Program". Further, sheis an advanced worker in the national health system; an Academic Leader of thekey clinical discipline constructions units of the National Health and FamilyPlanning Commission; the head of Zhejiang Province Hematology Tumor (Diagnosisand Treatment) Key Lab; an Academic Leader of the key hematology discipline ofZhejiang Province and also of the hematology discipline of Zhejiang UniversitySchool of Medicine; an Academic Leader of the key innovation team of leukemiabasic and clinical research of Zhejiang Province; the chairman of theHematology Special Committee of China Medical Women's Association, the chairmanof the Blood Transformation Committee of China Anti-cancer Association, thevice chairman of the Holistic Integrative Society of Hematology, a member ofthe Chinese Society of Hematology, the deputy chief of the Erythrocyte Group ofthe Chinese Society of Hematology, a member of the Standing Committee of theChinese Society of Experimental Hematology, a member of the Standing Committeeof the Chinese Society of Hematology, the vice chairman of CSCO Anti-LeukemiaAlliance, a member of the Standing Committee of the Cross-strait HematologySociety and the chairman of Zhejiang Society of Hematology.
Academicsand achievements: She has undertaken 15programs sponsored by the National 863 Program, the 11th Five-YearPlan, the national fund, the Ministry of Education, the National HealthCommission, provincial fund and Science Technology Department of ZhejiangProvince, with a total of over 10 million funds. She is the first granted 8first, second and third prizes of national and provincial science andtechnology progress awards, has published over 300 papers, including 92collected in SCI, and 60 SCI papers as the first author or correspondentauthor. Her Homoharringtonine-based HAA scheme for treatment of acutemyelocytic leukemia (AML) with Chinese characteristics, marking the first inthe world, has achieved satisfactory efficacy and the relevant outcomes havebeen published in Lancet Oncology.Besides, this scheme (recognized by all experts at home) has become the firstchoice for treatment of AML in China. In addition to the great repercussions athome and abroad, this scheme was noted and highly praised by Academician WangZhenyi, the winner of the highest national award and Minister Chen Zhu of theNational Health Commission at national conferences. She was the winner of afirst prize of the Science and Technology Award of the province in 2009 and asecond prize of the national science and technology award in 2011.
